Community Involvement
As you may know (depending on if you've been following our team or not), we're doing a project on scrap electronics. At first, we thought making a couple prototypes was enough. Then we realized that to really have a finished project, we had to try to use the solution in real life. After making some prototypes and researching e-waste, we got the idea to start a company where a green box is placed in a school, and people can drop they're unwanted scrap electronics into the bin. The e-waste in the bin will be collected and re-purposed, and the re-purposed items will be used to raise funds to start green box programs in other schools. Practice Competition
On Saturday, November the 21st, we'll be competing at a practice competition. We have most of our project done, but almost none of our robotics done. We can't have the robotics done in time for the practice competition, but at least we have the project done. If you would like to donate to our team, contact me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.
Robotics Update #2
In the first robotics post, I told you that we had 5 missions done, but with different robots. Well, now we have only 2 done, the octopus, and the composter. Our robot can do this in one run, by pushing the octopus from base to the circle, go around it, and press the compost button. We're still working o the other missions. If you would like to donate to our team, contact me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.
Project Update #3
We've been working very hard on our project, and we've completed 2/3 of our bristol boards. We have project and our core values poster done. We've also been working on our presentation, and have completed that as well. We hope to finish our robotics poster as soon as possible. If you would like to donate to our team, contact me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.

Project Update #2
2 more prototypes were made. One was a pen holder, and one was a box that is openable and closeable. If you would like to donate to our team, contact me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.
Halloween
On Halloween, I added some computer parts to my pumpkin to help with the innovative solution. This will add content to our poster board. If you would like to donate to our team, contact me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.

Project Update #1
So far, we have a paper holder, a bracelet, a toy/paperweight, and a bookmark. These were made a bout a week and a half ago. This week, we built 2 more prototypes. The new prototypes are pencil/pen holders. One is big and one is small. If you would like to donate to our team, contact me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.
We have a Twitter account. Our account name is IntelligentRobo2015. It would help if you can follow us. If you would like to donate to our team, contact me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.

Robotics Missions
So far, we have 5 missions completed. First, we have the sorter mission, then the compost mission, then the salvage mission, then the factory mission, and most recently, the truck mission. In total, we would have 246 points at the competition for completing these missions. We have the attatchments, but their not on the same robot. If you want to donate to our team, contact me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.

Our research project
Our topic for our research project is scrap electronics. Our goal is to find a way to recycle or reuse these materials. So far, our solution is to turn these scraps into things that have a use, like toys, a bracelet, or a paper holder. We're currently working on more models, and will post an update on those models once they are made. If you are another FLL compeditor and are reading this, please do not copy our idea. If you'd like to donate, send an email to me at juliangrande26@gmail.com.
